MINERALS PROCESSING

MinEx - Process solutions - the tailored way to extract your money at maximum efficiency, minimum cost

MinEx have enormously wide mineral processing experience spanning the past 25 years.  This covers uranium, coal, copper, cobalt, nickel, salt, asbestos, tin, kaolin, barytes, antimony, niobium and tantalum, semi precious gems, lead, stone, diamonds and gold.  This has involved treatment rates from a few tonnes per hour to a few thousand tonnes per hour.

There are many methods of mineral processing to accomplish the same results as well as many equipment manufacturers who produce the equipment to do this.  MinEx will ensure selection of the most applicable process.... first time.

From the early stages of due diligence on a project, MinEx will be assessing material characteristics to define the correct process.  In simpler projects, this may be fairly straight forward, but more often than not, a bench scale test work program or 'pilot plant' processing on some scale will be required.  There are many companies who will perform this test work, including equipment manufacturers themselves, but MinEx Associates can act in a client's interest to select and control the most relevant test program for material concerned.  From there MinEx select the most appropriate, best value for money machinery for the situation.

MinEx Associates have been involved with several successful turnkey and EPCM projects on plant design and re-design.  Because of our wide range of experience we can often apply methods from our experience that would not usually be known about or applied in a particular region.  For example, methods applied in North and South America are not practiced in South or West Africa.  In our experience, American methods are far superior in terms of running cost, mobility and simplicity.
