MINERALS PROCESSING

MinEx geophysics offer unique and powerful contributions to any project, hard rock or alluvial.

MinEx will acquire radar satellite and photographic images with digital topographic maps of your site.  Our GIS Engineers integrate and study combinations of the images to define targets for closer examination.  MinEx process raw (primary) air magnetic survey data or use ready processed for interpretation to define target anomalies.

Stock Exchange fund raising requires industry reporting standards to be kept (E.g. JORC, NI43-101, SAMREC) to evaluate the shape, depth, size and value of a mineral deposit.  To achieve statistical confidence of the site's viability, this has conventionally been achieved by drilling a specified number of holes in a certain grid pattern .  RAP Geophysics can be incorporated into drill data to reduce holes drilled in hard rock or pitting with alluvials.  There is no other method of IN RIVER geophysics other than that offered by MinEx.

There are two methods of ground geophysics offered by MinEx.  For over fifteen years the techniques have produced readable, accurate results.

The techniques are 'RAP' and 'SBP'

R.A.P. (Resonance Acoustic Profiling)

A 'dry' geo-sonic method, used OUTSIDE of water. Very successful results with RAP have been produced since 1992. This is a proprietary technique originated in Russia.  It is only available from MinEx.  Major technical advancements have been made since the 1990’s.  Effective on alluvial, elluvial as well as hard rock to 400m depth

S.B.P. (Sub Bottom Profiling)

A 'wet' geo-sonic method, used INSIDE the river water. MinEx acquired a SBP machine from the United States in 2008 at a cost of $50,000 for work in West Africa.  By combining the system's own raw data output with RAP data processing software, extremely readable material has been produced and profiles of materials in a river bed can be clearly observed.
